ARTICLE 8 - PAYMENT

8.1 Accepted Payment Methods

The products purchased by the Customer through the Site can be paid alternatively, with:

(1) Credit card

       (2) Bank transfer (subject to authorization by e-mail between the parties) Method not present on the e-commerce site

In the event that the payment method chosen by the Customer is the debit on the credit card, the charge will be made at the time of the conclusion of the order.

At no time during the payment procedure, Helpvet s.r.l. is able to know the information relating to the credit card, credit card number or financial, property and personal information of the customer. The payment order is, in fact, transmitted - via a secure connection - directly to the portal of the bank or financial company expressly indicated, upon confirmation by the Customer.

Helpvet s.r.l. in no case is it responsible and cannot be held responsible for any fraudulent or illegal use of credit cards that may be made by third parties during the purchase and payment of the products.

Helpvet s.r.l. reserves the right not to accept the purchase proposal or to suspend the execution of proposals already confirmed in the event of anomalies or irregularities in the payment. In this case Helpvet s.r.l. reserves the right to request additional information from the customer and / or to send copies of documents proving ownership of the credit card used for the purchase. In the absence of the required documentation, Helpvet s.r.l. reserves the right not to accept the purchase proposal or to terminate any contract already concluded, without giving the Customer any right to request compensation for damages or to assert other claims.

(2) Bank Transfer

In case of payment by bank transfer, the order will be managed only after confirmation of the full amount credited.

Payment must be made within 3 days from the date of the order.

For proper order management, the Customer must indicate the order number (specifying the e-commerce method), date, name and surname in the reason for payment.

After 3 days the order will be automatically canceled.

The availability of the chosen product will be assessed at the time of accreditation.

8.2 Payment security

Stripe forces the use of the HTTPS protocol for all services that use TLS (SSL)

We regularly check the details of our implementation, including managed certificates, certificate authorities used, and supported ciphers. We use HSTS to ensure browsers interact with Stripe over HTTPS only. Stripe is also present in the preloaded HSTS lists for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

All card numbers are encrypted when inactive with AES-256 encryption algorithm.

In the case of payments made online, the data provided by the Customer are transmitted in a secure manner that prevents others from reading.

Anyone involved in the processing, transmission or storage of card data must meet the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Stripe has been verified by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a Level 1 PCI service provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payment industry.
